This Archetype often appears as a wise, older figure that uses knowledge of people and the world to offer guidance to impress a sense of who you are and who you might become.

The self archetype, signifys the unification of consciousness and unconsciousness in a person, representing the psyche as a whole. The whole self is realized as the product of individuation.
